The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, and four other ministries jointly released the “Implementation Plan for Enhancing Supply-Demand Matching of Consumer Goods to Further Promote Consumption.” The plan aims to establish three trillion-level consumption fields and ten hundred-billion-level consumption hotspots by 2027, while cultivating a batch of high-quality consumer goods with global reputation. The policy focuses on mutual empowerment between consumption upgrading and industrial upgrading, viewed as a systematic measure to resolve supply-demand mismatches and foster new growth drivers
